Verti4You is a 27-month strategic partnership between HEIs, R&D institutions and NGOs working with fewer opportunities (FO) and NEET youth from RO, BG, GR, and IT, addressing qualitatively all three European priorities considered of relevance for projects submitted in Romania, in line with the national policies.

Based on the `Engage, connect, and empower young people` motto (EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027), the Verti4You main goal is to promote youth social entrepreneurship among the young people with fewer opportunities (including NEETs), by using vertical farming as a mean to produce ecofriendly and healthy food in rural, peri-urban, and urban areas. At the same time, Verti4Youproject aims to strengthen key competences and basic skills in the field of modern horticulture, by using vertical systems to produce vegetables, a fact that may also strengthen the employability of young peoples with fewer opportunities. For the youth workers, Verti4You aims to enhance their knowledge in using innovative agricultural practices in the help of youth, by offering them digital means and hands-on training tools.
