We are pleased to announce that the Verti4You Multiplier Event will take place on January 29th, 2025, in Bucharest, Romania. The event is hosted by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV), within the Aula Magna “Petre S. Aurelian”, and will continue with a practical visit to the Green Hub in Ploiești, developed by Ultragreens.
This event is part of the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU Project “Verti4You – Vertical Farming for Youth in Rural and Urban Communities” (2021-1-RO01-KA220-YOU-000029554), which promotes vertical horticulture as a social entrepreneurship opportunity for NEET and fewer opportunity youth in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Italy.
The Multiplier Event aims to share project results and tools with a broader audience, including youth workers, educators, researchers, NGOs, and public institutions. Participants will discover:
The goals and impact of the Verti4You project
Digital training packs on vertical farming and youth entrepreneurship
Practical insights from training activities and youth exchanges
Success stories and challenges from partner organizations and beneficiaries
The event will feature presentations by project coordinators and experts, interactive discussions, and a special guided tour to the Ultragreens microgreens production site.
